Gliding, not drifting...
I feel an incredible connection to the universe. It is as if I sense every molecule around me.
When I look at a tree, I see this immense process of life, the years of slow growth and development, the survival of storms and disease, and the interconnectiveness to the environment and life around it.
When I see a man made structure, such as house, road, or automobile, not only do I sense its every molecule in it and how the environment has ravaged it, but the effort of research and development of each part, the blood, sweat, and tears involved in the making of it, and how it touched the lives of those who had a hand in it.
When I am especially amplified by this heightened sense I find myself overwhelmed by the world. The road, the paint on the road, the road side markers and signs, each building, house, and shed, tree, shrub, and plant tell me their story as I pass them on the road. Each insists on being noticed and heard. Each story compelling and epic. Each being forced through my comprehension... I feel the fabric of my brain and heart being forced ever wider, stretching... till I tear and hemorrhage thought and feeling.
Leading me towards feeling... Uplifted... Exhausted... Peaceful... Humble... Small... Quiet... Safe... Understanding.
